Salesforce Integration with any External System using Krysp

Updated: Aug 27, 2021

Krysp platform helps you connect Salesforce data with other third-party external systems and create your workflow integrations with less code.

Once set up properly, Krysp Salesforce Webhook Triggers sends data from Salesforce to Krysp platform which can further be utilized to create dashboards, REST APIs or send data to other systems like AWS S3, GCP, etc. To know more about available integrations in Krysp, visit Krysp Starter Templates.

Get Started

Download and install the Krysp app from Salesforce AppExchange or via this direct link if you have a developer account.

In order to use the Krysp app for Salesforce, a Salesforce system administrator will first need to install and configure the Krysp app for Salesforce.

Krysp app helps you to create a webhook to send Salesforce data seamlessly to Krysp platform which can further be extended to integrate with third-party services like AWS, GCP, and many others.

Install and configure the Krysp app for Salesforce

Step 1 : Login with your salesforce administrator account

Visit https://appexchange.salesforce.com/ and search for Krysp. For a developer account use this direct link.

Step 2 : Install Package

Install the Krysp app package for admin or all users within your organization.

Step 3 : Open Krysp app in Salesforce

After installation, use the search bar on the top within your Salesforce account and search for Krysp and click to open it.

You are ready to create your first app/automation.

It takes 3 simple steps to build and deploy your app/automation using Krysp Low Code Platform.

Here's a quick demo of how you can integrate your Salesforce data with your app using Webhooks.

Create your first app

Step 1 : Create a New Project

To create a new project using Krysp Salesforce app you have to provide a few required information as mentioned below.

  • Project Name : Enter a name for your project and same will be used to create a project within Kryps platform. This allows you to easily manage multiple projects within Krysp.

  • Webhook Name : Enter a name for the webhook. This will be used to create a unique URL with your webhook name to post data from Salesforce to Krysp platform.

  • SObjects : SObjects are Salesforce Objects from which you would like to retrieve the data and send it to Krysp using Webhook.

  • Events : Select from the list of events on which the webhook will be triggered to send the data to Krysp platform.

Step 2 : Create Project and Continue to Krysp

For first time users, the app will ask to "Sign up using Salesforce" for an account in Krysp. Once you create an account in Krysp using Salesforce, you have to "Allow Access" for Krysp to continue the integration.

On successful Signup, a new environment will be created for you within the Krysp platform.

Go back to Krysp Salesforce app, and continue the setup to generate a webhook URL based on the information provided in Step 1.

Step 3 : Continue to Create Flow

After successful webhook creation, click on "Continue to Create Flow" and you'll be taken to specific project tab in the Krysp Platform.

Click on "Deploy" on the top right in the Krysp platform to save your project and you're literally done!

Step 4 : Validate the integration

To validate your integration, go to the Salesforce Object that you selected while creating the app and update the data.

Please note, the webhook will be triggered based on the "Events" selected while creating the app.

Based on the events you should be able to see the Salesforce data visible in the debug console within Krysp platform. You can utilize this data to integrate with any third-party services like AWS, GCP, and many others.
